Upcoming news and events- Valentine Chocolates: Essential Healing and Massage will be giving out chocolate candy from the local Graham’s Chocolate store to all of our clients who are coming in for an appointment the week of Valentines Day! Reiki Level 1 Class On March 7th, (Saturday) we will offer a Reiki level 1 class in our office. Reiki is a well known and respected vibrational healing technique that anyone can learn. It promotes healing of tissues, relaxation, increased immunity and balancing of the Mind/body connection. Instruction is given by Kim McDuffee and Helen Floyd, Reiki Master Teachers in Usui tradion of Reiki. The class will run from 9 AM to 5 PM ( with breaks) and costs $224.44 ( a 5% discount) including your instruction manual.The class is geared towards hands-on instruction as well as history and basic introduction to vibrational healing. Students receive a certificate of completion . No continuing education credits are currently offered. You must be present for the entire class to receive the certificate of completion. We have a new Therapist- Please welcome Katie Fortman to our staff of Therapists: Katie is in Chiropractic school currently and has been a Massage Therapist for 4 years. She has training in Swedish massage, deep tissue, Reflexology,Cupping, Hot Stone Massage. Ask for her combination Swedish and cupping treatment! Katie is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4 to 8 PM, and every other weekend.
