You have heard of essential oils. Their scent is heavenly and their healing properties are renowned. So, how to easily make use of them in your every day life?
There are 5 basic essential oils that you can start with for single note blending and for combinations.
Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Sweet Orange,Peppermint.
Make your own Essential Oil Room Spray:
Essential oils are precious and a little goes a long way, they are administered by the drop. Purchase a good quality Essential oil, I suggest starting with lavender. to start you will re-use or purchase a colored spray bottle of any size, but 4 to 8 oz size is most useful.
Lavender Essential Oil Spray Recipe: Put 10 to 20 drops of essential oil in your 8 oz spray bottle, ( 10 to 15 in your 4 oz bottle) add 1 teaspoon of vodka for stabilization, and fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Shake well and spray in the room for a calming ,relaxing scent, or spray lightly on your pillow and sheets for a good nights rest. Lavender also helps headaches and migraines.
Lavender and Pine Essential Oil Spray: Get the uplifting qualities of Pine, coupled with it’s adrenal fatigue relief, and the calming nature of lavender. Put 10 to 20 drops of Lavender and 5 to 8 drops of Pine essential oil in your 8 oz spray bottle, ( 10 to 15 lavender in your 4 oz bottle, along with 5 of pine ) add 1 teaspoon of vodka for stabilization, and fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water.Shake it well, and shake each time you spray. enjoy this lovely combination scent, and the emotional support it provides.
